Rules and Regulations

Why Is This Important?

We work hard and put in many hours per year maintaing the drainage water systems this includes :

       *Bayous

       *Ditches

       *Retention Ponds and More

All these drainage systems play an important roll in the counties water shed. From the ditch or street drain in your front yard to the larges rivers and canals. Without these working proplely it would be impossioble to have a green front lawns or properly irrigated farm land.  Even worse it increases the risk of flooding which can be devastating.

Fencing, Structure, Driveway Regulations

When installing a fence, structure  or driveway near a water way there are many different factors that affect the distances that will need to be left unobstructed . The best way to get these measurements  is to call your county official , Leonard Vyoral @ 832-444-3935
